GOMEL 2000

GOMEL´S studies, consists of two floors and basement. The problematic issue raised was the elimination of noise from the 2nd study floor to the 1st floor. In the 2nd floor is often placed new sets which produces a serious problem of noise transmission. (Screwdrivers, nails, bump etc.).


Since audio recording were made at the time that you made the video footage and requires very low background levels. Therefore, as a imposed of condition transmitted by noise will exceeding to 22dB. The study room to be treated is a open plant floor of 680 m2 (without pillars) with large spans between support beams.

As ambivalent solution (improved insulation noise impact and airborne sound), this was designed and implemented a flooring floor composite by multilayer supported on metal spring forming elastomeric tube filled with absorber material on which we applied a waterproof casing of DM plus antic-impact blanket material, polyethylene sheet and layer compression of 8 cm with a double layer termination (1+1cm) of reconstituted wood for the correct anchoring of the scenery.

The results can be describe as excellent because it has a great improvement of impact sound insulation Δ L´nT,w = 45 dB, and improved airborne sound insulation Δ DnT,w = 18 dB, providing a level of global transmission impact of noise of L´nT,w FINAL = 15 dB ( it is designed to meet our condition of not more than 22dB of noise transmitted) and an overall Aero sound insulation DnT iar, A FINAL=73 dBA ( which achieves an noise level in the room air emission , maximum of 73+22=95 dB), thereby ensuring that the acoustics conditions in the room on the first floor will be optimal.
